Meet Lynn Griffith
Executive Chef / Culinary Instructor

Lynn was born and raised in Montreal, a world-renowned culinary destination often celebrated as Canada’s premier food city. Defined by its rich French-Canadian heritage, vibrant multicultural influences, and deep-rooted farm-to-table philosophy, Montreal’s culinary landscape emphasizes local, seasonal, and foraged ingredients. This dynamic food culture sparked
the foundation of her culinary journey.
In the mid-1980s, her path led her across the continent to California, where she immersed herself in new and diverse food traditions, including Southern American and Mexican cuisines. These experiences expanded her palate and deepened her appreciation for regional ingredients and bold, expressive flavors.
An entrepreneurial force in the culinary world, Lynn went on to become the founder of multiple food companies and specialty vendors. She also founded a pioneering food program in Pasadena, creating opportunities for community connection through education, seasonal cooking, and culturally inspired cuisine.
Lynn became especially fascinated by the transformative power of spices — how they elevate simple, wholesome ingredients into distinct cultural expressions. This exploration became central to her culinary evolution.
Her mission is to inspire others to see cooking as a joyful and creative experience — one rooted in flavor, seasonality, and a meaningful connection to the land. She hopes to encourage families, friends, and communities to gather once again around the table, rediscovering the warmth and connection that shared meals create.
